New TxTag customer service provider named. TxDOT entered a Toll Services Agreement with Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) on Nov. 6, 2024, under which TxDOT will continue to own and maintain its toll roads in the Austin and Houston metro areas while HCTRA takes over toll billing and customer service operations. Customers may receive bills from other toll authorities regarding toll travel, but never for the same transactions billed by TxTag. Please contact the TxTag Customer Service Center at TxTag.org or by calling 888-468-9824 regarding any questions.
