How to avoid unnecessary violations and fees.

You may not receive bills for driving on Texas Tollways in a timely manner if your address information on file with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is incorrect. By law, Texas Tollways and TxTag must mail bills to the location listed as the "owner's address" in VTR records. This is the case even if vehicle registration renewal notices are mailed to a different address.

Please update your vehicle owner's address, as soon as possible, by filling out and mailing the change of address form. You may be subject to administrative fees and fines for late payment of tolls if your information is not correct.

NOTE: Changing your registration renewal address online with VTR or TxTag will not fix this problem. You must mail in the attached form. If you have any questions about vehicle registration in Texas, you may contact the VTR Division headquarters at 512-465-7611.
